Dr. Drew Davidson is a native of West Des Moines, IA where he graduated from Dowling Catholic High School in 2001. He obtained his B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2009. He obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery from Des Moines University in 2014. Dr. Drew completed a three year podiatric surgical residency at Gunderson Health System in La Crosse, WI where he received comprehensive training in reconstructive surgery of both the foot & ankle. Dr. Drew is podiatry surgical provider at Mary Greeley Hospital, Surgery Center of Des Moines, Unity Point, and MercyOne.
Before attending medical school, Dr. Drew Davidson played collegiate baseball at the University of Illinois where he was a two-time All-American & the 2005 Big Ten Player of the Year. In 2005, Dr. Drew was drafted by & signed a contract with the San Diego Padres. He played professional baseball for two seasons in the Padres minor league system.
In his free time, Dr. Drew Davidson enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenna, & son, Chesson. He is an avid golfer & enjoys watching sports; especially his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals & Kansas City Chiefs. Dr. Drew also enjoys woodworking & gardening.
